Set in the late 14th century, the film follows Hamirji Gohil, a newlywed warrior from Gujarat, who defies the oppressive rule of Zafar Khan, the Subedar of Gujarat under the Tughlaq Empire. As temples are destroyed and forced conversions rise, Hamirji rallies Hindu kings to defend Somnath Temple. Despite being vastly outnumbered, he and Vegdaji Bhil lead a courageous stand that ends in martyrdom but preserves the temple and faith.
